Spirit of Norfolk Launches Kids Discovery Cruises

The Spirit of Norfolk and Nauticus - The National Maritime Center - are launching Kids Discovery Cruises. The SOL-compliant field trips are popular with local elementary and middle school students and teachers, who can all agree on class outings that combine learning and fun.
Students embark on a voyage of science, history, marine life, food and fun all rolled into one. Each Kids Discovery Cruise includes a kid-friendly lunch buffet, DJ dance, and SOL-compliant programs provided by educators from Nauticus. Cruises include programs such as Cool Science, Shark Power, Elizabeth River Exploration, Navigating the Waters, and more. Dates and programs are subject to change.
